We’re big supporters of charities here in the North East and throughout 2019 are supporting The Sunshine Fund.
The charity is a really fantastic cause and we’re pleased to be raising funds with a number of fundraisers planned.
Some of our team are taking part in this year’s Great North Run and will donate all monies raised to the charity. We have 6 members of staff taking part including our Directors Phil McGuire and Ben Riley, as well as Danielle Fradgley, Phil Jobson, Alan Small and Peter Hodgson.
We’re also involved in the Fund’s own Sunshine Run which is a 5km run along Newcastle Quayside.
We’d hugely appreciate any donations to help us raise as much money as possible. To make a one-off donation of £5, text “MORTGAGE 5” to 70085. Donate between £1 and £20 by simply changing “5” to your nominated amount.
In preparation for our year of supporting The Sunshine Fund, last Christmas our whole team took part in the charity’s Christmas jumper day. We doubled the amount collected by the team to raise £200.
The Sunshine Fund provides equipment to hundreds of disabled children in the North East every year. However applications are at an all-time high as there are many more children who need the support of the charity. The Fund needs as much help as possible to allow every child to reach their potential and live life to the full.
