First Mortgage (NE) is delighted to announce that three new staff members have joined our team as we continue to expand in the region.
Taking up newly created roles, Mark Baty and Richard Tonks will be working across our locations in Gateshead, Newcastle, Sunderland, Chester-le-Street, Northumberland, Middlesbrough, Darlington and York.
Mark Baty has joined us as Operations and Marketing Director, and said: “I’ve joined a growing and ambitious company with a fantastic reputation in the region. It is the best at what it does and who doesn’t want to work for the best? Not only will I have the opportunity to shape my role, I’ll also play a big part in the development of our team and marketing of the business which is a chance to be really creative.”
Alongside Mark, Richard Tonks will be managing the personal development of the region’s teams, bringing his passion for coaching forward as Area Sales Manager. He will be overseeing sales, operations and training, and his financial background will bring valuable insights to the company.
“It’s always a great feeling to see our team grow, especially with new roles as we expand our offering” said our New Build Director Phil McGuire. “Business is at an all-time high and we’ve a fantastic bunch of people working across our branches who share our passion for finding clients the best mortgage deal available to them. Our First Mortgage NE team was made up of 25 people at the beginning of the year and has already grown to 33-people.
