How Far Will Your Budget Go?

To give you a better idea of how far your budget will go in Manchester, we’ve analysed the latest statistics from Zoopla to compare property prices in one of the city’s most in-demand suburbs versus one of its more affordable districts.

If you’re looking to buy a 2-bed flat in Deansgate — one of the most sought-after locations in central Manchester — you should be prepared to pay upwards of £390,000. For a third of that amount, you could get a 3-bed end terraced house in Harpurhey, with just a 10-minute commute into the city centre (where the current average value for a semi-detached home stands at £188,000).

The Future of Manchester’s Housing Market

Manchester is continuing to see huge investments in both property and infrastructure in 2021. With a £1billion investment in Manchester airport providing new routes to destinations across the globe and cultural developments across the city, Manchester is diversifying its options.

Currently, there is healthy growth in the property market across the city and house prices are rising as Manchester becomes an ever-more attractive place to live. Developments like the Salford Quays and the extension of the MetroLink tram system have added to this, meaning there’s never been a better time to think about purchasing property in Manchester.
